Desizing Enzyme is an alpha-amylase enzyme that is eco-friendly and non-hazardous. It promotes the rapid removal of starch sizes by breaking starch into soluble dextrins.
It is recommended for enzyme-based desizing operations carried out at a temperature range of 60°C to 65°C.
The enzyme is suitable for use in textile processing mills for removing starch sizes from grey fabrics, denim jeans, twills and textiles such as cotton and rayon.

Desizing & Wet Processing Instructions

Formation of streaks is undesirable during the desizing of fabrics.
Desizing Enzyme helps achieve a cleaner and more uniform, streak-free fabric finish by effectively breaking down and removing starch-based sizing materials.

Applications in Processing Mills

Processing Mills
For a continuous jigger process using a 270 kg fabric batch:
• Desizing Enzyme: 2.25 kg (0.8%)
• Wetting Oil: 1.3 kg
• Salt: 2 kg
• Processing Time: 1 hour
• Temperature: 65°C
The above process conditions are suitable for effective enzyme-assisted desizing in textile processing operations.

Primary Usages & Benefits

Typical usage conditions for Desizing Enzyme in denim and other fabrics are:

Storage & Packaging Guidelines

Desizing Enzyme should be stored in a cool and dry place, protected from excessive heat and moisture.
At a storage temperature of 25°C to 30°C, the enzyme can retain its activity for at least 6 months without significant loss.
For best performance, keep the packaging properly sealed when not in use.

Safety & Handling Protocols

Desizing Enzyme should be handled using standard industrial safety practices. Avoid direct contact with the product and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during handling and application.

Wear protective gloves and safety goggles while handling.
Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing.
Avoid inhalation of enzyme dust or aerosols during handling.
Keep the product container tightly closed when not in use.
Handle in a well-ventilated area.
In case of eye or skin contact, rinse thoroughly with clean water.
Keep away from food, beverages and incompatible materials.
Follow the recommended storage and handling conditions for maintaining product quality and activity.
